If a magical genie were to appear before her very eyes, Ellen Pompeo would only make one request. Just give her a great-looking body and she’ll be good to go.
Pompeo recently said she wants to add more meat to her bones. The “Grey’s Anatomy” superstar says she would be “the happiest girl in Hollywood” if she could just put on a few pounds.
According to Playboy magazine, the slim-thin actress says she would look fabulous if she gained some weight because it would go straight to her “boobs and a**.” Then she would look like thousands of women in Hollywood except for the fact that her boobs wouldn’t be fake.
She said, “If I could gain five to 10 pounds, it would probably go straight to my boobs and ass. I would be the happiest girl in Hollywood, trust me.”
Pompeo admits she would show off her slamming figure and make everybody’s heads turn with her “new” assets.
She added, “I’d have this sick bod because I’d be the skinny girl with big boobs and a cute butt.”

Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo are snuggled in a rumpled bed, and he is looking at her. And by looking at her, we mean looking at her. It is the look that has sent several fictional lives on Grey’s Anatomy into dramatic tailspins and has given millions of fans endless fantasy material.
And yet, Pompeo is…giggling. Hysterically.
She apologizes, but she cannot stop. A patient Dempsey morphs from smoldering leading man to bemused costar to, finally, stern taskmaster: ”Quiet, close your eyes, and breathe deeply.” She does, and for a take or two, it works — Dempsey, as Dr. Derek Shepherd, can peacefully (well, except for the snoring) observe his lover, Dr. Meredith Grey, as she slumbers. Then her laughter breaks loose again, and Pompeo storms off the bedroom set, shouting, ”I can’t work with him anymore!”
She is careful, later, to explain that this was just a joke (people are a bit sensitive around the set of the ABC hit these days; more on that later). But emotions do run high — and fast — when it comes to Grey’s Anatomy. Its myriad moods change from sexy to funny to dramatic to silly, making for an intoxicating thrill ride that is as unpredictable as it is unmissable.
Since their first half-season in 2005, Seattle Grace’s improbably hot surgical staffers have gone from midseason replacements to bona fide stars. And now, having relocated to the toughest time slot on TV, Grey’s has become nothing short of a phenomenon, luring an average of 21.4 million fans every week and consistently topping Thursday-night behemoth CSI in the 18-49 demographic. How did they do it? ”The characters are so human,” ABC Entertainment president Stephen McPherson says. ”Life is messy, it’s funny, it’s tragic, it’s dramatic, and this show captures that.”

Ellen Pompeo doesn’t quite have her eyes on the ball as she and fiancé Chris Ivery take in the Los Angeles Lakers 106-99 win over the San Antonio Spurs at the Staples Center on Sunday, where Eva Longoria was also on hand rooting on her guy, Spurs point guard Tony Parker.

Actress Ellen Pompeo attempts to keep her fiance from watching her steamy sex scenes in TV drama Grey’s Anatomy by insisting they do their laundry when she knows the clinches will air.
Pompeo recently became engaged to music producer Chris Ivery and she goes out of her way to make sure her famous TV scenes with co-star Patrick Dempsey don’t upset him.
The actress admits that watching herself cavorting with Dempsey on screen is a little embarrassing and one recent hot-tub scene was definitely not must-see TV in her house.
She says, “I thought I was being really clever in distracting him right at nine o’clock and I asked him if he could help me with the laundry so that he wouldn’t see that portion of the show.
“Then, 20 minutes later, he realised, ‘The show’s on and we’re not watching it.’ I said, ‘That’s OK, we can get to it.’ He said, ‘Oh well, I have it TiVo’d so we’re OK.’
“I knew it (the steamy scene) was right in the beginning so I thought, ‘If I can just sort of pre-occupy him for 15 minutes, I’m good.’”
