Katherine Heigl looked stunning as always as she walked the red carpet at the 59th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards held on Sunday.

Katherine Heigl did not seem too pleased to have the paparazzi follow her around for a day of shopping in Brentwood.

Grey’s Anatomy and Knocked Up star Katherine Heigl and her rocker fiancé, Josh Kelley have set a wedding date according to a report. The couple will have a Christmas Eve eve wedding, Life & Style Weekly is reporting in an exclusive report. “She picked the date – Dec. 23, just two days before Christmas,” an insider reveals to the mag.

“It just works because she’ll be in the middle of a holiday break for her show, and she’ll still have enough time after for a short honeymoon!” But the timing isn’t all about fitting in the wedding with her work schedule — Katherine wanted to tie the knot in the midst of the winter holiday season!

“Everyone is already so full of cheer just before Christmas,” the insider says. “So to throw in a wedding at that time — she just loved the idea!
“Her idea is to get married under this snow covered tent at her property with Josh in rural Utah,” adds the insider. “She wants glamour, so the dress is upscale. But she also wanted everything to feel down-to-earth, natural and beautiful.”

Katherine, 29, and Josh, 27, met in 2005 when she appeared in the video for his song “Only You.”

Katherine’s rep had no comment.

Katherine Heigl says that when it comes to her rocker fiancé, Josh Kelley, she enforces a strict no-groupies policy.

“About a year ago I called him on his tour bus and heard giggling voices in the background,” she tells Glamour in its July issue. “After that I said, ‘No more girls on the bus.’ ”

Still, the Knocked Up star, 28, is looking forward to having kids with Kelley. “I hope to have children and the sort of family traditions where we eat together every night,” she says. “Joshua will be amazing father, so I won’t have to do it alone.”

Part of what keeps their relationship strong is their common perspective, she says, explaining that they “see very eye-to-eye.”

And she isn’t really threatened by those groupies – especially because she’s comfortable with her body. Though she tells Glamour she had to lose 10 lbs. for her Knocked Up role – achieved with rigorous exercise and a strict diet – she adds, “I could never maintain it. I like food too much!”

Katherine Heigl was spotted a couple of days ago on the Rhode Island set of her new movie 27 Dresses.

Isaiah Washington may have been fired from Grey’s Anatomy, but Katherine Heigl will remain a resident at Seattle Grace.

Usmagazine.com has learned that the actress just received word from ABC inviting her back to the show next season.

Heigl’s rep tells Us, “Katherine has received a formal pick up notice and is still hopeful that ABC will show her the same respect that they have shown for her co-stars.”

A make-up-less Katherine Heigl was spotted outside a hotel in Providence, Rhode Island, yesterday afternoon. Whoever she is talking to must be talking a lot.

Before filming her new movie, Knocked Up, Katherine Heigl hated working out. But since meeting Hollywood trainer Harley Pasternak, the actress raves, “I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been in.”

Still, Heigl, one of People Magazine’s 100 Most Beautiful in 2007, didn’t get there without putting up a fight. “I hate dieting. I hate the whole thing!” she tells People in its new issue.

A revealing love scene in Knocked Up gave her the motivation to hit the gym with L.A. trainer Pasternak, who is known for his intense, time-efficient workouts.

“Katherine had a beautiful body, but it had never been toned,” says Pasternak, who has worked with Halle Berry, Jessica Simpson and Sheryl Crow.

Heigl, 28, met with him for cardio and circuit-training sessions of 25 to 50 minutes, up to five times a week for six weeks prior to shooting. On-set, she’d jump rope or lift dumbbells outside her trailer. All the while, she ate Pasternak’s 5-Factor Diet, which delivered five high-protein, high-fiber meals a day.

Even with a scheduled weekly “cheat day,” says Pasternak, Heigl soon looked “tighter and more toned.”

As for the former gym-hater, Heigl says now, a year after filming, she still works out regularly. “I used to have back pain. Suddenly, my body is supporting itself the way it’s supposed to,” Heigl says. “I wake up and I go, ‘My god, I can’t believe this is my body!’ ”
