The stars of Tv show Grey’s Anatomy have been honored as the top entertainers of 2006 by US magazine Entertainment Weekly.
The publication praises the hospital drama, which has a cast including Ellen Pompeo, Patrick Dempsey and Isaiah Washington, as a “phenomenon”.
Entertainment Weekly’s Lori Majewski says, “Grey’s isn’t just a show, it’s a phenomenon. Back in May (06) when last season’s final show aired (in the US), every place in New York City was empty. You could get a table at the best restaurants.”
