Justin Chambers arrived with his wife Keisha at the 6th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball. At the event Justin was asked whether or not he thinks Isaiah and T.R. should return next season, to which he replied “the show would be crazy for them not to return. We need them.”
Eric Dane and his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, were the evening’s hosts for the 6th Annual Butterfly Ball, raising funds for Chrysalis, an organization that helps L.A.’s homeless find jobs.
Ellen Pompeo came out of hiding for homeless charity Chrysalis last night. Excited to see co-star T.R. Knight, Pompeo embraced him and asked, “What happened to your blue hair?” “It was red,” corrected Knight, who recently dyed his hair.
“He’s so fun, such a crazy personality,” said Pompeo. With Ellen, Katherine Heigl and now Kate Walsh all engaged, might they have a triple ceremony?
“No!” said Pompeo. “There will not be a Big Three anything. My wedding will be very small.”
Before filming her new movie, Knocked Up, Katherine Heigl hated working out. But since meeting Hollywood trainer Harley Pasternak, the actress raves, “I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been in.”
Still, Heigl, one of People Magazine’s 100 Most Beautiful in 2007, didn’t get there without putting up a fight. “I hate dieting. I hate the whole thing!” she tells People in its new issue.
A revealing love scene in Knocked Up gave her the motivation to hit the gym with L.A. trainer Pasternak, who is known for his intense, time-efficient workouts.
“Katherine had a beautiful body, but it had never been toned,” says Pasternak, who has worked with Halle Berry, Jessica Simpson and Sheryl Crow.
Heigl, 28, met with him for cardio and circuit-training sessions of 25 to 50 minutes, up to five times a week for six weeks prior to shooting. On-set, she’d jump rope or lift dumbbells outside her trailer. All the while, she ate Pasternak’s 5-Factor Diet, which delivered five high-protein, high-fiber meals a day.
Even with a scheduled weekly “cheat day,” says Pasternak, Heigl soon looked “tighter and more toned.”
As for the former gym-hater, Heigl says now, a year after filming, she still works out regularly. “I used to have back pain. Suddenly, my body is supporting itself the way it’s supposed to,” Heigl says. “I wake up and I go, ‘My god, I can’t believe this is my body!’ ”

On the May 17 finale, Isaiah Washington’s Dr. Preston Burke left his tentative bride-to-be, Cristina Yang, on their wedding day. And now it looks like Washington himself will be taking off as well.
“He will not be back as a series regular,” a source close to ABC tells Us, noting that the embattled star, 43 – who has been under fire ever since calling costar T.R. Knight, 34, a “f—got” – “could possibly show up for a few episodes” next season.
Still, Washington’s rep insists, “Isaiah is not off the show. We do not have a contract yet, but we expect to.”
Katherine Heigl, 28, said her costar “just needs to stop talking” after Washington used the f-word again at the January 15 Golden Globes, but the damage had been done.
“The cast – especially the women – just don’t like him,” says a Grey’s source.
“The stars of the show really felt ABC made a mistake by keeping Isaiah [after his controversial behavior].”
Counters a Washington pal, “They won’t get rid of Isaiah because, with Kate [Walsh] leaving, they don’t want to ruin the magic.”
Spoiler queen Kristin over at eonline.com wrote the following on her blog:
I’ve now heard from various reliable sources that Isaiah has been taking meetings in New York and Los Angeles in search of a new job that would take place during the coming TV season, so it certainly appears that Isaiah’s Grey’s days are over. Insiders at ABC tell me “not everyone will be coming back” to Grey’s this fall, and although T.R. Knight’s fate was also left hanging in the balance after the season finale, I’m hearing he’s gonna be back (gotta wrap up that love triangle, not to mention his betrothed is the new chief resident!) but like I said, Isaiah looks to be a goner.
Access Hollywood caught up with “Grey’s Anatomy” star T.R. Knight last night as he was co-hosting the 52nd annual OBIE awards (honoring achievements in the off-Broadway stage) in New York City , when he admitted that he was unsure if he would be returning to “Grey’s” next season.
“I literally don’t know,” he said. “It would be nice to know if I’m supposed to report back soon.”
With his character’s fate up in the air after failing his intern test in the medical drama’s season finale, along with rumors of unease on the set due to September’s “homophobic slur” incident with cast mate Isaiah Washington, fans are anxious about whether Knight will return.
Knight told Access that he got a lot of calls from friends after the finale, wanting to know if he will be back. He thinks the producers haven’t told him because actors have big mouths and would tell everyone, but that doesn’t alleviate his anxiety.
“If you’re supposed to report back to work in a month and a half, I would really like to know that,” he remarked, adding, “because I would like to know if I can shave my head.”
Knight, known for coloring his hair vibrant colors from time to time, was photographed last week with a bright red head of hair. It was back to its natural shade of brown, however, for last night’s awards presentation.
Katherine Heigl, who has dyed her hair darker, brought along her hubby-to-be, Josh Kelley, to the LA premiere of her new comedy movie Knocked Up. Katherine was in a great mood, goofing around on the red carpet, and proudly showing off her gorgeous engagement ring.
Kate Walsh came out to support her, now former co-star, Katherine Heigl at the premiere of her new comedy Knocked Up. Kate brought along her husband-to-be, Alex Young — they look so cute and happy!
